What is Meniscal Tear?

Meniscus is a rubbery, C-shaped disc that cushions your knee and is present on the outer as well as inner edge of the knee. It keeps your knee steady as it balances your weight well across the knee.

What are the causes of Meniscal Tear?

Meniscal Tear usually happens while playing sports when you twist or turn the knee quickly causing a tear. It can also occur while lifting heavy objects or when direct contact in involved. With age, your meniscus wears away making it more prone to tear.
